Sumona’s Smart film uses polymer‑dispersed liquid crystals bonded to glass. When powered on, crystals align so the glass will become transparent; whilst off, they scatter light and turn out to be opaque. The transition takes milliseconds. You get contact‑control, faraway or automation integration—and energy financial savings way to UV and heat rejection. The film doubles as a smooth projection surface too, offering flexible use across domestic and industrial settings .
