Are Elux Nic Salts the Best Choice for UK Vapers Looking for Big Flavour at a Fair Price?

If you've spent any time in a UK vape shop or scrolling through vaping forums lately, you've probably seen the name Elux pop up again and again. But what is it about Elux nic salts that keeps vapers coming back? Is it the flavour range, the smooth throat hit, or the price? Let's go through what makes this range worth a look, and how to pick the right bottle for you.

What Exactly Are Elux Nic Salts?

Elux nic salts are 10ml e-liquids made with nicotine salt instead of freebase nicotine. In plain terms, nic salts deliver nicotine more smoothly, so you can use a higher strength without the harsh scratch at the back of the throat. That's why they suit pod kits and low-wattage devices so well.

Elux is already well known in the UK for its prefilled vapes, and the nic salt range takes that same flavour-first thinking and puts it in a refillable format. You get the taste you already like, and you can use it in your own device. It also tends to work out cheaper over time, with bottles starting from just £2.00 at Simba Vapes.

Why Are So Many UK Vapers Switching to Nic Salts?

Plenty of people begin with a prefilled vape because it's simple. Then they notice the running costs, the waste, and the fact that they can't change the flavour once it's in their hand. Nic salts solve all three. You buy one bottle, top up a pod or tank, and pick a different flavour whenever you fancy a change.

Another reason is consistency. A good nic salt gives you the same taste from the first puff to the last drop in your pod. If you're coming from a prefilled vape, the switch is easier than you might think.

Which Are the Best Elux Liquid Flavours to Try First?

With 30+ flavours available, choosing can feel like a lot. Here's how the range breaks down, and what tends to suit different tastes.

Fruity Flavours

Fruit is where Elux really shines. Expect juicy blends like watermelon, mixed berries, mango and tropical combinations. They're bright and sweet, with enough sharpness to keep each puff interesting. If you're not sure where to start, a fruit flavour is a safe bet.

Ice and Menthol Blends

Fancy something crisp? The cooler flavours add a fresh, chilled finish that works nicely on warm days. Blends such as blue razz ice or strawberry ice are popular because they balance sweetness with a clean, refreshing exhale.

Sweet and Dessert Styles

Prefer something richer? Candy, soda and creamy profiles are there for anyone with a sweet tooth. They're smooth, indulgent and easy to enjoy all day long.

If you ask around, most people say the best Elux liquid flavours are the ones that match your mood. Plenty of vapers keep two or three bottles on the go and rotate between them.

What Makes the Elux Legend Nic Salts Range Stand Out?

You'll often see people searching for Elux Legend nic salts or Elux Legends nic salts, and it's easy to see why. The Legend name is linked with some of the brand's most talked-about taste profiles, and many of those same flavours have made their way into the nic salt range.

What sets them apart is how true to life they taste. Rather than a generic fruity sweetness, you can pick out individual notes, such as the tang of a berry or the cool edge of menthol. The mix is well balanced too, so no single note drowns out the rest.

How Do You Choose the Right Nicotine Strength?

This is where nic salts are a little different from regular e-liquid, so it's worth getting right.

• 10mg: A gentle option for lighter nicotine users or people who vape throughout the day.
• 20mg: The more common choice for those stepping down from smoking or using a prefilled vape.

Nic salts are strong, so start with the lower strength if you're unsure. If you're moving away from a prefilled vape, think about how heavily you use it now and pick accordingly. You can always change in your next order.

Which Devices Work Best With Elux Nic Salts?

Nic salts are made for low-power setups. Pod kits and compact refillable devices are ideal, and a coil with a higher resistance helps you get the most from each flavour. Avoid high-wattage sub-ohm tanks, as nic salts are too strong for them and the vapour can feel overwhelming.

Whichever device you use, keep your tank or pod clean and swap coils regularly. It's a simple habit that makes a noticeable difference to flavour.
