MBBS in Vietnam: Course Duration

The basic medical course curriculum for international students lasts six years, including a mandatory internship of five and one years. Clinical rotations for all MBBS students will begin in their second year at university-affiliated hospitals. The Ministry of Vietnam, the National Medical Council, and the World Health Organisation all recognise Vietnamese universities. The degree given by Vietnamese institutions for international students in English programs qualifies for NMC recognition, and graduates are eligible to take ECFMG and other examinations.
