A lot can go wrong when transporting a car in the national capital and car owners should keep their eyes on their vehicle to identify any changes. If you are about to book professional car transportation in Delhi and want to do it the right way, you need to do a before and after survey of your car.
Taking these essential steps is a necessary step of the process as it allows you to identify if your car has been damaged in any way or not. Ideally, car owners are supposed to properly clean their cars and take its photos/videos to document its top condition so it is clear how the vehicle was before being handed over to the movers. Later, the car owners can use the photos and videos they have taken as evidence to identify any damages or changes on their car.
That said, anyone hoping to relocate their car should perform these two tasks faithfully otherwise they may feel regret and get into disputes which are hard to solve.
Here’s some benefits of doing a before transportation cleanup and surveying.
-
Establishes Base Condition and Value: Properly cleaning your car and taking photos of its current condition establishes its status as a vehicle in top condition. This makes it certain that your vehicle was delivered without any scratches or damage of any kind.
-
Easier to Identify Damage: Since you have already taken photos and videos of your car, you can use it as a reference to see if your vehicle has gone through any changes after the transportation. Rather than wondering if your vehicle was already in this condition, you can just use the evidence you have collected before the transportation as a reference point to see if the changes were already present or made during transit.
-
Prevents Lengthy Disputes: People who fail to clean their vehicle and photograph it when booking car transportation in Delhi often go through lengthy disputes as they find it difficult to prove their car was damaged during the transportation. Given that they have no proof, the movers can just refuse to take responsibility and claim that the damage had already happened before the transportation.
Final Thoughts
Whether you are hiring a professional moving firm or booking car transport by train in Delhi, you should definitely follow through these two steps in the process as car owners should deposit properly cleaned vehicles after capturing its top condition.

There should be no compromises with how you will clean your vehicle otherwise you can get in trouble later on.
