A Blade That Does Not Argue With You

All blades are cryogenically treated for grain refinement. Hardness is 60–61 HRC on the Rockwell scale. Grind is asymmetric (70/30) for right-handed users, with left-handed options made to order.

A Blade That Does Not Argue With You

When you cook under pressure—whether in a restaurant kitchen or at home with hungry people waiting—you need tools that obey. A handmade Ukrainian knife is not beautiful in a fragile way. It is beautiful because it works exactly as expected, every time. No wobble. No hesitation. Just clean cuts.

Who We Are

A small forge in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. We are three blacksmiths who previously worked in industrial knife manufacturing. We left because we wanted to make fewer things but better things. Our approach is hybrid: traditional forging techniques combined with modern digital hardness testing. We are committed to transparency about steel composition, edge retention data, and even our failure rate (currently 4.2%).

What We Offer

Professional-grade kitchen knives: chef’s knives (200 mm, 210 mm, 240 mm), slicing knives (270 mm), boning knives (130 mm curved), and paring knives (75 mm). All blades are cryogenically treated for grain refinement. Hardness is 60–61 HRC on the Rockwell scale. Grind is asymmetric (70/30) for right-handed users, with left-handed options made to order. Handles are ergonomic with hidden tang and stainless steel bolsters.

When It’s Useful

  • When you prep 20 kg of onions and need your hand to survive.

  • When you break down a whole salmon and need a flexible thin blade.

  • When you slice brisket against the grain without tearing.

  • When your current knife wedges in hard squash or pumpkin.

  • When you want a backup knife that performs as well as your primary one.

Why Choose Us

Professional knives from major brands often have good steel but terrible handle ergonomics. Ours are shaped by hand after testing with 30 different hand sizes. Many custom makers charge premium prices for inconsistent heat treatment. We test every blade with a calibrated hardness tester and discard any that fall outside 0.5 HRC of target. The reliability of geometry means you will sharpen less and cut more.
