What It Really Takes to Heal the Mother Wound – My Story

For the first time in my life, at the age of 31, I genuinely enjoyed talking to my mom. That may sound like a small thing, but for me, it was monumental—a sign of deep transformation that I once thought would never be possible.

For years, I carried what many call the mother wound: layers of emotional pain, unspoken resentment, and energetic disconnection. It shaped how I saw myself, how I moved through the world, and how I related to others. But after years of deep inner work, shadow work, and energetic healing, I reached a place where real change finally took root.

If you’ve been carrying pain in your relationship with your mother—whether it’s due to trauma, neglect, misunderstanding, or generational patterns—please know this: healing is possible, on every level and in every layer. My story is living proof.

My Background Story

Growing up, my relationship with my mother was complicated. On the outside, it might have looked “normal” to some, but underneath, there was tension, miscommunication, and unprocessed pain. As a child, I learned to adapt to my environment—often by suppressing parts of myself just to keep the peace.

Over time, that suppression became a way of being. I felt emotionally disconnected, even when I was physically present. And like so many of us, I assumed that was just “how things were.”

Beginning the Journey of Healing

The real shift began when I committed to doing the internal work—not just talking about the pain, but actively engaging with it on every level: mind, body, heart, and soul.

I explored trauma healing techniques, energy work, and a deep dive into parts work, where I met the younger versions of myself who had been holding on to fear, sadness, and unmet needs. These parts were not obstacles—they were messengers, showing me where love and integration were needed.

This wasn’t a quick or linear process. There were moments I thought I had “healed it” only to have another layer rise to the surface. But I learned that healing isn’t about erasing the past—it’s about transforming our relationship with it.

Understanding the Energy Structure of My Relationship

One of the most powerful breakthroughs came when I began working with the energetic blueprint of my connection with my mother. Every relationship has its own energetic structure—patterns of giving, receiving, blocking, or leaking energy.

Through my training and practice in Energy Weaving, I started to see how our connection had been tangled. There were cords of obligation, unspoken expectations, and inherited wounds passed down through generations.

By untangling and re-weaving these energetic threads, I began to create a new dynamic—one where love could flow without the weight of old patterns.

The Call That Changed Everything

Not long ago, I had a conversation with my mom that felt… different. For the first time, I wasn’t bracing myself for conflict or shrinking to avoid discomfort. I spoke openly. I listened deeply. And most importantly, I felt a genuine sense of warmth and connection.

It wasn’t about her suddenly becoming a different person—it was about me changing from the inside. Because when we shift internally, the external world begins to match our new frequency.

Healing Happens in Layers

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that healing is layered. We don’t just clear something once and never feel it again. Instead, we move through cycles—revisiting the same themes from deeper and deeper levels of awareness.

For the mother wound, this often means:

  • Surface level: Acknowledging the hurt and telling the truth about your experience.

  • Emotional level: Allowing yourself to fully feel and process the emotions you’ve been carrying.

  • Energetic level: Clearing and re-weaving the unseen threads that keep the wound active.

  • Ancestral level: Recognizing that some of this pain didn’t start with you—it’s part of a generational pattern.

Each time we move through another layer, we reclaim a lost part of ourselves and step closer to wholeness.

Returning to Wholeness

The core of this journey is about coming back to yourself. It’s about remembering who you are beyond the wound—beyond the survival patterns you learned as a child.

Energy work, chakra alignment, and shadow integration have been my primary tools in this process. They’ve allowed me to not just understand my wounds but to transform them. And as I’ve shifted internally, my external relationships—including with my mother—have transformed too.

If You Feel Called to Step Into Your Own Healing

If my story resonates with you, it may be your soul’s way of nudging you toward your own healing journey. Whether your mother wound feels like a sharp ache or a distant echo, it is possible to work through it.

Here are some steps to begin:

  1. Start with self-honesty – Name what you’ve been carrying without judgment.

  2. Seek safe support – Work with a guide, therapist, or energy healer who resonates with you.

  3. Honor the layers – Be patient with the process; each layer reveals new insight.

  4. Work energetically – Explore tools like Energy Weaving, chakra alignment, and cord-cutting to shift the unseen patterns.

  5. Integrate your shadows – Meet the parts of yourself you’ve pushed away and bring them back into your heart.

Energy Weaving – A Sacred Calling

Energy Weaving is an ancient, soul-level practice that helps restore harmony in our energy field and our connections. It’s not just about personal healing—it’s also about service.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to guide others, hold sacred space, or work with the Earth’s energetic web, this may be part of your soul’s blueprint. I’m currently interviewing those who feel this call for a sacred project.
