The Ayurvedic Skincare Journey: Discovering Blue Nectar's Saffron-Infused Magic

We all have different skin care preferences, ranging from the newest products to popular ones, from things that calm our skin to traditional methods, and from plant-based to vegan solutions. Our worries, current fashions, skin types, and, above all, beliefs all influence these decisions.

I discovered Blue Nectar's Kumkumadi face serum and Shubhr saffron and sandalwood cream by following this strategy. Being me, I usually simply pay attention to the texture, aroma, bottle design, and packaging. However, something out of the ordinary occurred this time. I looked at the components; they were simply the standard Ayurvedic ones that I was personally familiar with, but saffron was a frequent one. I only thought about saffron in relation to food, like kheer or kesar pista ice cream. I never thought of it as a component for skincare.

With one mystical charm—"Wingardium Leviosa"—the serum, which arrived in a glass container with a glittering dropper wand, seemed like a magic wand that would remove my fine lines and wrinkles and leave my skin feeling smooth and soft!

Use of the product

As I proceeded to the most intriguing aspect of application, I began by using the Kumkumadi face serum. This glowing, dewy liquid began to seep into my skin as soon as it touched it, and as I mixed it, it dispersed evenly throughout my face. Similar to how the first rain absorbs into the soil, the serum is rapidly absorbed by the skin. If the scent of the first rain cannot be replaced, my skin felt as if its desire was satisfied as soon as the serum was absorbed. My skin felt so soft, silky, and smooth after using it; it left my skin glowing, shining, and natural-looking.

Applying Shubhr Saffron and Sandalwood lotion was now necessary. As the name implies, the cream's texture was influenced by saffron and sandalwood ingredients. I noticed that it had a smooth, velvety texture and a subtle, calming scent. It melted like butter when I rubbed the opulent lotion into my skin. Its texture served as the ideal basis for composition. It is nourishing, hydrating, and lightweight. Both treatments soothe and hydrate skin as if it were a smooth surface.

Following usage

Ayurvedic company Blue Nectar avoids using harsh chemicals that might cause serious skin damage. I discovered when looking at their package that this face cream may be used both for preventive and corrective measures to combat the effects of aging. Since I have entered my early 20s (mentally), it will fall under the preventive category in my instance.

Even if K-beauty is popular, I think I should try A-beauty, which my ancestors used with ayurvedic herbs.

I always live under the maxim "less is more." I include it in my morning routine. My face is first cleansed with a gentle cleanser, then I use Kumkumadi face serum, Shubhr saffron and sandalwood anti aging cream, and finally SPF. I follow a precise morning regimen because I want it to be nourishing and hydrating without being heavy or irritating. Since one cannot anticipate a drastic difference after just one week of usage, I saw some changes after a week. However, I can see that my skin is more hydrated, silky, bright, and glowing. My skin feels velvety after using it. Based on my experience, I can state that since the formulation is for aged skin, it will perform well on wrinkles and fine lines.
