Reuters, February 3 - In a thrilling Saudi Pro League game on Friday, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal for Al Nassr with a last-second penalty to save a 2-2 tie at Al Fateh.

After going without a goal on his debut last month, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and 37-year-old Portugal international scored from the penalty spot three minutes into extra time.

I'm excited to have scored my first goal in the Saudi League, and the entire team put forth a tremendous effort to secure a crucial draw in a very challenging game! After the game, Ronaldo posted on Twitter.

Ronaldo reportedly paid over 200 million euros ($220 million) for a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr in December, and he was named captain soon after.

After 15 games, Al Nassr is currently in first place and is tied for second with Al Shabab on 34 points, but they have one more game remaining. On Thursday, they make their next stop in Al Wedha.
