AviaGames GDC 2026 Recap: Strategy and Expansion

AviaGames GDC 2026 Recap: Strategy and Expansion

At the recently concluded Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2026, a clear shift in the industry became evident. Attention is no longer centered only on large AAA studios or major platforms, as casual competitive gaming continues to gain traction. This growing segment reflects a change in how players interact with mobile games, with companies introducing new ways to combine accessibility and performance-based play.

At AviaGames, we were part of these discussions. As a Silicon Valley-based mobile gaming company, we focus on developing casual competitive titles that blend simple gameplay with skill-based mechanics. Games such as Solitaire Clash, 8 Ball Strike, and Bingo Tour have surpassed 60 million downloads, reaching players across markets including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada.

During GDC 2026, we joined sessions alongside PayPal and Meta to explore how mobile gaming continues to evolve. With PayPal, we presented “From Win to Wallet,” highlighting how payment systems influence player experience through faster payouts, improved transparency, and stronger security. These updates contributed to reduced support inquiries and improved player retention.

Our booth also drew steady interest, allowing attendees to experience our games firsthand while connecting with our team. At the same time, the event aligned with our 10th year in the industry, marking continued growth under CEO Vickie Chen and the expansion of our portfolio through the Pocket7Games platform.

Overall, GDC 2026 reinforced a shared direction across the industry, with a focus on fair gameplay, strong partnerships, and continued innovation in mobile gaming.
